Flutist Linda Chatterton, cellist Joel Salvo and harpist Rachel Brandwein perform as Trio Matisse. Each member is an active clinician and performer both nationally and internationally.

The trio takes its inspiration from the bright, expressive colors found in French painter Henri Matisse’s works. Based in Minneapolis, the members of Trio Matisse have toured throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and parts of Asia. Their music ranges from the dreamy pastels of Impressionist composer Claude Debussy, to Appalachian folk music, to vibrant popular tunes.
